The TKAH29B is the 90cm version of Teknix’s angled hood, intended for wider five-burner hobs or for island and feature walls where a 60cm unit would look undersized. The black glass canopy spans the full 90cm, with three extraction speeds, LED lighting and an A energy rating.
Width is the point of specifying this model. An extractor narrower than the hob leaves the outer burners uncovered, and steam from those pans drifts sideways into the room rather than being drawn upwards. Matching the hood to a 90cm hob keeps the whole cooking area under the capture area, which matters most when several pans are working at once.
The angled canopy keeps the lower edge clear of the cook’s head. Anyone reaching across to the back burners gets more room than a flat-fronted hood would allow, and the touch controls on the glass face sit flush, so there is nothing protruding to catch sleeves or trap grease. Maximum noise is quoted at 57dB on the highest of the three speeds, so the fan can be left on through a long cooking session.
Ducted or recirculating installation is supported, giving flexibility where an outside wall is not within easy reach. Physical dimensions are 90.0cm wide by 31.2cm deep, and the chimney telescopes between 74.3cm and 112.3cm for different ceiling heights.
