Double Chocolate Brownies

Easy to make, gooey and chewy chocolate brownies.

Here at the Sirius Buying Group, we have heard from a number of our Members on what recipes they enjoy cooking the most with their small kitchen appliances. Take a look at the easy double chocolate brownie recipe below…

Ingredients:

  • 175g unsalted butter
  • 100g 70% dark chocolate
  • 100g white chocolate
  • 300g caster sugar
  • 75g plain flour
  • 40g cocoa powder
  • 3 eggs
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C/160 fan°C/mark 4.
  2. Melt 75g of dark chocolate, 75g of white chocolate and the butter together over a pan of simmering water and leave to cool for 20 minutes.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and sugar until stiff.
  4. Fold the chocolate mix into the egg mix, followed by the flour, cocoa powder and salt until combined. 
  5. Break the remaining 50g of chocolate into small chunks and add to the mixture. 
  6. Add the mixture to a lined square baking tin and cook for 30-35 minutes.
